Jessica's house is turning out to be really cute! We have been having fun hanging pictures. I had a bunch of my almond latte paint left so she had her front room and part of her kitchen painted using that. Her dining room and the rest of her kitchen is a sagey green. It looks really good. Its looking model homeish! What would we do without Kirklands!

This is my beautiful Jessica on her wedding day. My neice Katie wanted to see Jessica's veil. Katie we don't have a picture with a good veiw from the back. It is a beautiful veil. Jessica was one of the most beautiful brides that I have ever seen. Of course she is my daughter!

This is the neatest shelf that my sister brought me from Wyoming. It is really cute. I have stuff sitting on it but I took it off for the picture.

We gave Jessica and Tommy our old washer and dryer. Oh my gosh! We started it yesterday and it sounded like the space shuttle was taking off! Also the timer is all messed up, it wouldn't stop washing I had to turn the knob so that it would drain, it wouldn't do a darn thing until I would hit it, it was like something you would see in the movies. Needless to say they are buying another washer. I just hope the dryer doesn't blow up on them.

Well that wasn't too bad they already came back tonight. Grandma has her play room back.

Tonight is our last night with Jessica and her family, we are going to miss them. Especially our nightly fun with Carlee. They are only going 1 mile much better than 1800 hundred miles!

Derek and Lindsey bought Courtney 3 new dresses while they were in Mexico, she feels so pretty! They are so cute on her.

Around 1400 B.C., it was the fashion among rich Egyptian women to place a large cone of scented grease on top of their heads. As the day wore on, it melted and dripped down their bodies, covering their skin with an oily, glistening sheen and bathing their clothes in fragrance.
(Now that is disgusting!!! I rather stink!)

This morning Lindsey told Derek that he looked like a lion so he shaved his mane! Much better! My boys are lucky enough to look good without hair.

Yet another useless fact

Hair grows slowest at night. It’s growth speeds up in the morning, slows down in the afternoon, and accelerates again in the evening. Hair grows faster in summer than in winter.

My hair must always think its morning or evening and summer its always in accelerating mode. That is one hard thing about short hair, you constantly need a haircut so that you don't look like you have on a hair helmet!

Lindsey and Derek got home, they brought us some shrimp, I hope I can do it justice when I cook it on the grill! Courtney can be a little drama queen. This evening when I told her that her mom and dad were home and that we were going to take her home she said, No, No I will never see you again!! She only lives 10 minutes away, we see her a lot.

My Sweet Valentines

The girls were so cute today at church in their matching dresses. Courtney came home singing I am a child of God. She said, oh man I can't remember the words to that song! She would make up her own words, it was pretty cute.This morning before church Courtney got pretty emotional (i'm sure from lack of sleep) we said what is wrong? She said it's my brain, my brain is all messed up!

Tonight Courtney made Valentines for her cousins and Aunt and Uncle. She was so excited!

Jessica and Tommy had their walk through today, 3 hours worth. I had the honor of keeping care of precious Carlee Baby

Happy 27th Birthday Derek! Where ever you are in Mexico! Having MUCHO fun I'm sure!!!

This afternoon Courtney and I went to see Hotel for Dogs. It was really cute. She loved it. Best part was the $18.oo worth of free tickets! Lindsey gets tickets from work. When they asked me if I would watch Courtney for 5 days I said sure for 2 tickets and some huge shrimp from Mexico for the BBQ! Yum, hope they remember.

I have Courtney this week. Derek's birthday is tommorrow so Lindsey wanted to take him on a trip to Rocky Point. Oh my, I hope they come back!

Nathan (second from the right)turned 30 yesterday. Happy Birthday Nathan! Jessica and I decorated his garage door yesterday with a Happy Birthday banner and balloons.

Yesterday at Carlee's party Courtney was so cute. She was cheering Carlee on saying, Carlee pick up the cake and put it in your hair!

One year ago
