This kind of creeped me out
Courtney fell asleep in my cedar chest today, she loves laying in there because it is so soft. That is where I keep a lot of my blankets. I was getting ready for the day and turned around and saw her sleeping so I grabbed my camera. Watching tv and sleeping in there are 2 different things, it looked way too much like a cofffin!
Courtney keeps me laughing
Derek asked me to watch Courtney today for a couple of hours, so on our way home Courtney said, grandma will you draw me a mermaid and cut it out for me so I can color her? And then she said, do you know how to draw Prince Eric so I can color him too? I said sure so when we got home I drew Prince Eric and asked her if that was a good drawing of him and she said YES! So I drew a picture of her mermaid, Ariel of course, and I asked her, does this look like a mermaid? She said, well, not really grandma but thats ok! I think I got an F in art and I am not kidding!

Yesterday I told Courtney that I loved her and she said, I love you too grandma, and I said, I love you more, she said, I love you more than that, I said I love you more more more more more, and she sat there and just looked at me for a few seconds and said grandma I love you more than what you just said!

Happpy Mother's Day Mom!
I Love You!!! Here are a few things I remember about growing up...One of my fondest memories with you was sitting on our back porch with you when I must of been about 6 years old reading to you while you did our families wash for the week in the wringer washer, that must of been so cold in the winter and hot in the summer. I loved the hours you would spend playing the game Tipit with me! When I was a freshman you would curl my hair in hot rollers every morning. You had the hardest time getting us to eat breakfast before highschool in the mornings you would say "I will go to Circle K and buy you anything you want if you will just eat something" Man what kid wouldn't go for that one, I didn't, I guess that is why I was skinny back then! Letting me drive the family car to highschool every day, leaving you without a car. Sending me clothes shopping with your visa! Last but not least teaching me how to drive in the White mountains, how scarey that must of been for you, so many curves!! There is much more, I could go on forever. Thank you for everything you do for me and all the uplifting words you have always spoken to me. I am so thankful I have you in my life. You are and always have been a great mother to me. I love you!
